Sentio Edge harnesses the phenomenal power and potential of computer vision and represents the future of enforcement technology. It was the first enforcement technology in the UK to achieve the standards recommended by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).
Sentio Edge’s industry-first cloud-based back-office functionality does without the need to observe the UK’s requirements on air-gap data transfer (when allowed in UK – it’s standard elsewhere), and also provides automatic secondary checking. These two elements significantly reduce delays, allowing access to detection information in near real-time. This also dramatically reduces processing times and provides far greater all-round operational capability, flexibility and adaptability.
In common with the whole Sentio range, Sentio Edge features RS720, an entirely new, bespoke, front-end processing application designed and developed in close cooperation with the people who use enforcement cameras every day and need to make informed decisions and implement effective safety strategies.
Red Light, Spot Speed camera and Spot Speed on Green
Totally non-invasive
Method of Detection – Computer Vision for both Red Light and Speed capture
Automatic secondary check
Not air-gap dependant
Monitors up to 5 lanes in any combination of approaching or receding
Weighs less than 10Kg
Can be installed on existing street furniture, thereby avoiding large civil engineering costs
Flexibility in deployment – can be trailer mounted or set in temporary concrete block foundations and powered by a hydrogen fuel cell or other means
9Mp images
High-definition offence videos
Additional camera included for automatic secondary check
Colour images for day and night
IR or white light compatible at night
Can be installed between 18m and 75m from traffic lights
Stopline can be split virtually, so if left turn/right lanes have different aspect to other lanes and operate on different timings, this can be monitored separately across up to 9 aspects:
Speed enforcement on amber and green phases
ANPR
Hardware can be repurposed for alternative modes of use via different software configurations
Flexibility in offence case storage medium (either cloud-based or local server)
Offence viewing via RS720 platform
Home Office Type Approval application underway
