Smarter Average Speed Checks for Safer Journeys

Sentio Scope

Average speed cameras help to make longer stretches of road safer by encouraging drivers to maintain a steady speed, rather than just slowing down for a fixed camera. Sentio Scope is our dedicated, next-level Average Speed enforcement technology offering bi-directional capture from a single unit.

Designed to set an unprecedented benchmark for enforcement, detection, capability and deployment flexibility, Sentio Scope features RS720, an entirely new, bespoke, front-end processing application designed and developed in close cooperation with the people who use it to deliver optimal processing efficiency and data-led strategic violation data filtering capability.

Non-invasive and delivering the best quality evidence, Sentio Scope represents the future of average speed enforcement.

What makes Sentio Scope so effective?

By encouraging consistent speeds, average speed checks can help reduce sudden braking and congestion.

Studies show that average speed enforcement is a highly effective way to reduce speeding and, consequently, accidents and injuries.

Sentio Scope doesn’t require digging up the road or installing lots of equipment. It can often be fitted onto existing lampposts and other street furniture, minimising disruption.

The system is lightweight and can be easily moved and set up in different locations, even using trailers or temporary foundations with alternative power sources like hydrogen fuel cells.

Sentio Scope captures high-quality colour images, day and night, to provide accurate information.
