Understanding how our roads are used - engineering a better future

Sentio Track

Sentio Track is our bespoke, non-invasive, traffic count solution that gives you the data and insights you need to make informed enforcement decisions.

We can train and assign the computer vision to count all road users, from cyclists to the biggest articulated trucks and all vehicle types in between. We count road users in each classification and record their speeds. We can also ANPR any user with a number plate, and we can do this in both directions of traffic from a single box mounted at the roadside.

As with all Sentio products, it may be mounted on existing lamp columns. Approaching motorcyclists can be captured by our ANPR cameras as they recede.

How does Sentio Track help us plan for better roads?

By accurately counting different types of road users, we get a clear picture of how our roads are being used.

This information helps authorities plan for new roads, cycle paths and other infrastructure improvements.

Understanding traffic speeds can help identify areas where safety measures might be needed.

Knowing the number of cyclists and public transport users helps in planning for greener transport options.

The system is non-invasive and easy to install, minimising disruption.
